We are seeking friendly, reliable, professional drivers to join HCT in providing transportation and support to users of the services according to their individual needs and requirements.

As well as being an excellent driver with a sound understanding of the needs of vulnerable individuals you must hold a clean UK Driving Licence with Category D1 entitlement.  This role is based in Hackney, East London, however you must have the flexibility to go to our South London site (South Bermondsey) to support with driver shortages, as and when needed. Due to working with vulnerable adults and children, you are required to complete an enhanced DBS; if you have a portal DBS, this will be accepted. You will possess excellent communication skills, be flexible, honest, have a ‘can do’ attitude and be confident working on your own initiative.

Drivers will be expected to work on all our Community Transport Services, including Dial-A-Ride, Group Transport and our Mobility Scooter Scheme. The role involves a minimum of 20 hours per week, based on a 5-day working with shift patterns. Hours and days to be discussed at interview.
